Several years ago I started using Shea Butter. After experiencing how it made my skin feel, I knew I had to introduce it to the world. One day I came across a scented Shea Butter that was different and smelled wonderful. My Mom, who is an active Shea Butter user, and one of my biggest cheerleaders, told me “You can make Shea Butter yourself.” So I thought to myself, “What would make me different than any other person that sells scented Shea Butter?" "Why would people want to buy my Shea Butter?" So I decided to not only make my Shea Butter scented, but also put essential oils in it that have health benefits and create my own fragrances.
It all started with a name. “Peaceful.” I looked up what essential oils actually evoke the feeling of peacefulness. After researching and studying essential oils I found that Lavender and Ylang Ylang make you feel calm and peaceful. So I mixed Lavender, Ylang Ylang and topped it off with a body oil to give it an extra twist and voila! Peaceful was born. I decided to name my scents something fun and positive, making you “Feel Good.”
After experimenting with creating my own Shea Butter, I started making soaps, then body sprays, as well as other products. (These will be introduced later.) I’ve been creating scents since 2008. I absolutely love being creative. I put love in every jar of Shea Butter, Soap and body spray.
I am blessed with many creative abilities that I owe to my Dad, Perry Owens, who is in my spirit every day. I enjoy making other people happy. I’m a firm believer that: what you put out in the universe is what you get back. I also believe if you are looking and living good, you are probably feeling good. Feeling
good is ultimate key in my opinion to blissful happiness.
